Southern Web Group is a growing web design and online marketing firm in Atlanta, Georgia. We are currently seeking candidates for the position of project manager. Founded in 2004, our firm has nearly doubled its business in the last year. In order to continue our growth, we're seeing a project manager to help manage that expansion.

About the Role

The Project Manager leads client communications from sales hand-off to publish and beyond. This position is responsible for making sure our projects stay on target. Both clients and staff rely on the project manager for everything they need to know about a project: what to expect, what to do next, and where they need to be.?

Key Responsibilities Set project goals, expectations and timelines with the client and staffSuccessfully assemble materials and requirementsManage individuals across a range of disciplines, including graphic designers, copywriters, and web programmersKeep projects on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, status reports, and meeting notesSchedule and facilitate calls with clientsClearly communicate project issues and resolution to the client and internal teamMaintain & distribute detailed notes, explicit task assignments, meeting requestsSuggest additional online marketing products, as necessaryTrain clients on how to best use WordPressQualifications Prior experience as a website project manager or directly related experienceExperience using 37Signals' BasecampExperience managing marketing, creative and internet technology projects; including social & mobile initiativesExperience managing internal expectations on project scope and deliveryExcellent communication skills, including business writingFamiliarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, SEO, WordPress)Familiarity with multiple web browsersStrong problem solving skills; responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities and changing environment
