THE POSITION
The role of this position is to help provide technical support for the existing AGRIS Java-based products, maintenance development coding, as well as development of new features. VB.NET development skills are also beneficial in order to maintain and develop the core AGRIS V9 Product Suite as well.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Work with the existing developer(s) to use the existing development environment
? Work with Product Management to learn the existing software applications
? Provide maintenance development on AGRIS products, including iView, binSight, and Fuel Connect
? Work with Product Management, Development, and QA teams to help define and develop new features
? Provide technical system support and troubleshooting when necessary
? Ability to also provide maintenance development on the VB.NET AGRIS V9 product suite is a plus.
THE PERSON
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred, along with 1-7 years experience in a team software development environment using agile methodologies.

? Develop using Oracle, MySQL, MS/SQL databases (Intermediate)
? Spring/Struts framework (Nice to have)
? Hibernate (Nice to have)
? JQuery Javascript library (Nice to have)
? XSLT (Nice to have)
? Some VB.NET or C# development experience is preferred
? Excellent troubleshooting skills
? Proficiency with networking concepts and computer hardware
? Possesses well-developed organization skills
