Front End PHP / jQuery Developer (Montreal)

More infoWe are a Montreal-based funded startup in the online marketing space, looking to hire a front-end developer who lives, breathes, eats, sleeps, and dreams in PHP, jQuery, AJAX, and REST APIs.

You must have:
- Deep knowledge of PHP using the Zend Framework. Don't bother applying if you don't know what MVC & OOP mean.
- In depth knowledge of web applications and tying in front-end with back-end database driven APIs
- Ability to integrate APIs in both REST & SOAP
- In depth knowledge of HTML (including HTML5), CSS (including CSS3), JS (specifically with jQuery, you should be able to write your own & hack jQuery plugins)
- Ability to work with photoshop & fireworks (editing previously made graphics), slicing them, and implementing them in highly efficient CSS-driven HTML web-pages. You should be familiar with CSS template engines as well
- Experience in working with large web applications in a distributed environment preferably in a SaaS setting
- In depth knowledge of working with Linux systems, and version control (SVN & GIT)
- Working knowledge of Python
- Ability to learn new technologies very quickly like NoSQL, Reverse AJAX (Comet), and tens (if not hundreds) of APIs
- Basic knowledge of networking protocols, & load balancing
