The Web UI Developer is responsible for:
Developing cross-browser and W3C standards-compliant web interfaces using HTML, CSS, Java Script, jQuery and other technologies as required.
Designing and developing of Interface Architecture, Interface Technical Specifications and Interface Templates.
Required Skills:
Expert skills in creating W3C standards-compliant HTML code.
Expert skills in creating Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), including CSS 3 variations.
Expert skills in Java Script.
Expert skills in jQuery and jQuery control libraries.
Demonstrated ability to design elegant and engaging user interfaces -- must present online portfolio or links to past works.
Working knowledge of graphic design packages such as Illustrator and Photoshop in order to produce basic layout and manipulate images.
Well-versed in the quirks of different versions of Firefox, IE, Chrome and Safari including advanced knowledge of Mobile Web Design practices for iOS, BlackBerry and Android.
Required experience:
A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic Design or equivalent working experience.
Minimum 7 years of continuous working experience in designing and developing UI for complex web-based projects and applications.
