I am currently seeing a PHP pro for an internet startup company located in the Maldives. We are using the Cake PHP framework to develop a site where users upload information, and it is posted on the site. It is a 4 month project, with an estimated beta release at the end of the year. An additional 2 months will be spent adding features to the website, and refining the stuff that is built based on user feedback. The total project time is 4 months. Depending on the success of the website, and your choice to stay will determine if a continued contract will be negotiated.

In order to be successful, it will be necessary to have someone fly out here. We can speak face to face on Skype to interview. The company will pay for flight costs, sponsor the visa, and pleasant accommodations have already been arranged. Monthly salary includes 17,000 rupee plus a completion bonus.

Having your passport is pretty much all you need. Everything else will be compensated for. It is a nice island lifestyle, and we have an Indian cook. I am an American, and I can assure you that the living arrangements and office are nice.
