Skill check, before you hit apply:
1. Do you have a good eye for design and understand the grid
2. Do you know your way around Photoshop CS4 and up. You need to hit the ground running.
3. You must know your HTML. Can you write by hand, should Dreamweaver crash on you?
4. You must know your CSS. Can you troubleshoot CSS issues with Firebug and resolve them?
We are looking for a web designer who can work quickly in Photoshop, making quick mockups or replicating a clients website into a new template. The entire process has been streamlined so that no CSS has to be written, instead, just colour values have to be edited. In some cases, custom CSS and HTML will be required. In some cases, CSS troubleshooting might be required to resolve cross browser compliance.
Knowledge of Java script and Flash is not required - just good old HTML/CSS and Photoshop.
