POSITION DESCRIPTION:
AirWatch is currently seeking a Web Designer to join our rapidly growing Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be fully responsible for the layout, visual appearance and usability of the company website, ensuring that brand continuity is maintained. The Web Designer will work with a full in-house marketing team to improve AirWatch's website by creating new web pages, evaluating current web pages and overall UX, and incorporate blogs, podcasts, testimonials and training videos. The ideal candidate will utilize graphic design and technical skills to create compelling websites that service internal and external clients.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Draft, design and execute corporate website pages utilizing various photo editing software programs, including Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.
? Implement and manage an enterprise content/video management system
? Collaborate with front-end developers to create & refine UI concepts and page designs
? Design graphics for website pages, internet advertisements and banners
? Complete basic photo editing tasks to improve the appearance of current graphics utilized in AirWatch's website pages
? Incorporate blogs, podcast, testimonials, training videos etc. to AirWatch's website to increase visibility
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related fields with 2-5 years of B2B website design experience
? Must have portfolio containing well-designed, content-heavy websites that the candidate has worked in previously
? Must have experience implementing and customizing a CMS such as Joomla, WordPress or Expression Engine
? Experience with jQuery / Javascript, HTML5 & CSS3 are a plus
? Ability to write clean, standards compliant markup
? Ability to design with implementation in mind, including strong knowledge of information architecture, file size & compression issues, and the fundamentals of web usability
? Must be capable of learning new technology and tools while delivering deadline work under previous guidelines
? Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations
? Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated and work well on their own or as a member of a team
? Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload
