More infoOur client is opening a brand new, state of the art .Net Development Shop in Atlanta January 1, 2012 with the mission critical project of developing the new platform that their 10,000+ employees will be using to service their 200+ million customers worldwide. There are over 50 Sr Engineer and Architect positions that will be filled within the next year, 20 of which will be filled in the next 2-3 months. The technologies and development frameworks being utilized in this office are cutting edge and the end product being developed will be used by our client's employees for the next 10-20 years.

Responsibilities
? Understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions that meet the business demand
? Develop knowledgeand maintain proficiency in the business processes that drive the Company's systems
? Handle complex problems and works with peers to resolve issues, design and implement quality solutions
? Provide input to IT management on strategic directions
? Develop effective, maintainable code in a timely fashion
? Show a strong attention to development detail, produces high-quality code
? Ensure that all code meets or exceeds goals established for coding standards, maintainability, security, quality, and performance
? Work with BAs and Testers to ensure quality code that meets functional requirements
? Train and mentor other team members
? Develops automated unit test cases to validate defect-free code
? Follow established coding standards and techniques, recommending standards
? Continuously enhance skills and learn new technologies
? Work independently and as part of a team
? Play a lead role in team development, execution and effectiveness by being an example of an ideal team member
? Create, maintain, review, and adherence to IT processes and procedures
? Collaborate with peers to develop and set overall strategic and directions
? Envision and set standards, advises IT management on future projects, and designs solutions to complex problems.
? Assisting IT management with the visionary direction for technology solutions
? Facilitate and coordinate technical solutions for approved Projects, system improvements, and ad-hoc or emergency requests.

Qualifications
? 4+ years minimum experience in software development, architecture, and system design
? Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Sciences or related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered)
? Absolutely passionate about writing code
? Coding skills that are far above average
? Constantly seeking to gain new knowledge and skills
? Excellent technical foundation in: .NET, C, C++, C#, Java, database/SQL, SQL tuning, Web services, .ASPX, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, design patterns, WCF and MEF
? Substantial experience in OO design principles with an understanding of common design patterns
? Proven track record of developing complex applications that make up end-to-end solutions that incorporate quality attributes, high availability, meet business requirements, time to market considerations, and technology requirements
? Experience designing and working on large scale implementations of web or middleware technologies that handle millions of transactions (for industries like Telecom, Insurance, Capital Markets, etc. . .)
? Assisting in the design and building of scalable systems using asynchronous and synchronous messaging paradigms
? Experience in data modeling, visualization and implementation
? Knowledgeable on a variety of project management and development methodologies to include but not limited to SCRUM, TDD, Extreme Programming, Kanban and Waterfall.
? Superior skills in diagnosing and solving complex problems, providing detailed technical analysis, and recommending solutions
? Mentors others on how to work effectively as a team
? Strong verbal and written communication skills
? Experience acting as a technical lead for small teams
? Resource planning and people management / leadership desired
? Ability to handle multiple assignments
? Create technical roadmaps that enable the required business capabilities
? Experience implementing code review techniques and processes
